Rental Charges

Our rental charges are quoted in Malaysian Ringgit and are calculated on a daily basis. The charges include unlimited mileage, maintenance, and road tax but exclude costs like petrol, delivery and collection fees, odd hours charges, additional driver fees, parking, tolls, personal accident insurance, government surcharges, taxes, and optional items such as child seats, GPS, and Smart Tag.

Driving License

The hirer/driver must be of legal age and possess a recognized and valid driving license in Malaysia. For non-Malaysian citizens, a valid international driving license or a valid license from their own country is required. We reserve the right to decline rental if a valid driving license is not presented at pickup.

Travel Restrictions

Our rental vehicles are for use within Peninsular Malaysia only unless prior written consent is obtained from AZ Pinnacle Auto, with additional charges determined by us. Using the rental vehicle outside Peninsular Malaysia without consent will result in full liability for all associated costs.

Payment Method

We accept cash or credit card payments (preferably VISA and Mastercard). Full rental charges and a security deposit must be paid in advance, either prior to or at the time of vehicle pickup. We recommend booking and completing payment online to secure your preferred vehicle. Failure to pay in advance may result in availability issues or additional deposit requirements.

Security Deposit

A minimum security deposit of RM200 or an amount determined by AZ Pinnacle Auto is required, refundable upon return of the vehicle in its original condition, minus any deductions for outstanding fees or damages.

Pick-up and Return

Vehicle pick-up and return are available during our business hours (9 a.m. to 7 p.m.). For Penang International Airport, hours are extended from 8 a.m. to 8.30 p.m. Pickup or return outside these hours incurs additional charges. Adhering to scheduled return times is crucial to avoid late fees and full responsibility for the vehicle until it’s collected by us.

Pick-up and Return Locations

Charges for pick-up and return vary based on location and working hours. We reserve the right to modify these charges without prior notice.

Change of Booking

Changes to booking dates, times, or locations are allowed subject to availability and administrative charges determined by AZ Pinnacle Auto.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation fees apply based on the timing of cancellation relative to the scheduled pickup date. We may also impose administrative charges to cover costs incurred.

Emergency Breakdown Services

We provide emergency breakdown services during business hours. However, negligence or default by the hirer/driver may result in full responsibility for repair costs.

Insurance and Collision Damage Waiver (CDW)

We offer CDW to reduce liability in case of collision, though it’s optional. Without CDW, the hirer is fully responsible for any damages or claims. Reporting accidents or theft promptly is necessary, and certain items and damages are not covered by CDW.
